Analyze the essential difference between "3G antenna" and "WIFI antenna"

Strictly speaking, there are two ways: 2G and 3G; one is the earlier 2G model test, and the other is the latest version of 3G model test. 

1. 2G wireless monitoring transmission mode mainly includes CDMA mode and GSM mode. 

The hardware cost of these two modes is low, the coverage is large, and the transmission speed is slow. The highest transmission rate of the theoretical value is 153.6Kbps, which can only reach 60~80Kbps in practice. 

Because the video image requires 512Kbps to transmit smoothly, this speed is far from enough to meet the video requirements. 

Therefore, in the wireless monitoring project, very few manufacturers to choose. 

Another biggest disadvantage is that the flow fees charged by operators are too high, which will incur large fees every month and every year. 

Generally, it will be considered only when it is too remote for WIFI wireless devices to do so, and when there is a certain amount of money. 

2. 3G wireless monitoring adopts the 3G technology access mode of mobile (TD-SCDMA), telecom (CDMA2000 EVDO) and WCDMA (Unicom) operators. Since 2009, after being vigorously promoted by various operators, many monitoring manufacturers have developed related products in this area. 

The outstanding advantage of 3G is the high-speed download ability, the ideal value can reach the transmission rate of 3Kbps~20Mbps, but at present, because it is still in the promotion stage, the transmission rate needs further research. 

At present, 3G has some defects, such as limited wireless bandwidth capacity, limited access users, time extension and so on. in the case of multi-user sharing, it is difficult to guarantee the rate and delay requirements of wireless video surveillance. The main disadvantage is that the traffic fee charged by operators is too high. Ordinary customers can't accept it. 

WIFI wireless monitoring. 

Strictly speaking, WiFi wireless monitoring is divided into two ways: one is analog wireless monitoring, the other is digital wireless monitoring. 

1. Analog wireless surveillance is to modulate the video signal directly on the 2.4G or 1G wireless channel, transmit it through the antenna, the monitoring center receives the wireless signal through the antenna, and then demodulate the original video signal through the wireless receiver. This monitoring method has no compression loss and almost no delay, so it can ensure video quality, but it is only suitable for point-to-point short distance (within 1KM) single-channel transmission. 

Not suitable for scale deployment. 

In addition, because there is no modulation and calibration process, poor anti-interference, few frequency points, so in the complex wireless signal environment will produce a lot of interference, resulting in image confusion, loss and so on. 

Therefore, when there are multiple images to be transmitted, it is not recommended to transmit in this way. 

2. Digital wireless surveillance is to encode and compress the video signal, modulate it through the digital wireless channel (2.3G/2.4G/5.8G, etc.), and then transmit it using the antenna. 

On the contrary, the receiver receives the signal by the antenna, then wireless despreading and video decompression, and finally reverts to analog video signal transmission, which is also widely used in the domestic market at present. 

The flexibility of digital microwave is large, the communication capacity can be used at least dozens of channels, and it is relatively easy to construct, high communication efficiency and flexible application. 

Digital wireless has incomparable advantages of analog wireless, such as large area (5-30 square kilometers), many monitoring points (5-500 points) need to be relayed, when the situation is complex and there are many interference sources, the LP5800-WBS WIFI base station as the center and the front-end CPE equipment of the base station are used to transmit very high performance-to-price ratio. 

Digital wireless has large capacity, strong anti-jamming ability, good confidentiality, the same transmission power transmission distance is longer, less affected by terrain or obstacles, rich interfaces, strong expansion ability and so on. 

Of course, different wireless transmission technologies have their own applicable places. 

For example, in factories, oil fields, frontier defense, forest and so on, there are more wireless monitoring using WIFI. With the improvement of 3G performance, the decline of traffic costs, the maturity of the network environment, and the general demand for large-scale wireless monitoring, 3G will also be further used.
